Revealing to a sexual partner about a positive HIV status is a very hard thing due to issues such as stigma and judgment. The person with a positive status may also be afraid to lose the partner if they tell them about their positive status. What needs to be done is for them to seek counselling that may help them make an informed decision that will benefit both them and their partners health
That is true becouse if you don't is going to be bad for your partner without known and it will case a lot but if they both agree to be tested that won't be a problem but if one do and one don't that we be a problem.
In as much as it is difficult to tell your partner about you being HIV positive I feel our partners have every right to know because it involves them to.
The best way someone can do is to go to the clinic and explain your everything to nurse or counsellor... they can be of a help
Or try to advise your partner to go for PrEP
Some people prefer to disclose their status to a potential date or sexual partner immediately, sometimes even before a first date. Others prefer to wait and see whether the relationship develops before disclosing. Despite the fact that most people know about safer sex and how the virus is transmitted, fear and stigma can stir up very strong emotions and your status may deter some people from proceeding further in a relationship with you but all in all what is important is not to get your partner contract the virus .
Someone who loves his/her partner will always find a way to tell them about their status and disclosure should be done early before it becomes a sexual relationship
